Fun-Busy

The past two weeks have been really busy, but with so many fun things!  The kids have been playing outside all the time, we've gone to the pool several times already, we've had two birthday parties, a new nephew, a sleepover, memorial day get-together, going-away party, baby shower, and probably a few other things I've forgotten.

These pictures are so funny.  Parker was eating popcorn in his underwear and work goggles, and reading stats in a farm magazine.

Here's our super cutie nephew, Luke Henry Ross!

Adley and Daddy playing at the park.

3rd Annual Memorial Day Party with friends from NCA.

Playing with neighbors.

Parker is really looking forward to going camping with Ryan this summer.  They were watching a survival show on TV and Parker fell asleep ;)

We had Ella overnight.

Adley loves to ride on this little scooter.  She looks so cute!

She started walking ALL over the place about a week ago...and climbing...

Both kids love this truck.

 Look familiar?

Having so much fun is exhausting!  Looking forward to some rest, but thankful for so many things to celebrate =)

May Flowers Birthday Party

We were going to have Adley's party at a friend's house, but then we found out it was supposed to be a beautiful day, so we moved it to a park in Wheaton, and boy am I glad we did.  The weather was absolutely perfect!  The whole week prior had been rainy and cold, so sunny and 70 felt like heaven.

The theme was "May Flowers"...you know, what April showers bring?  My silly husband said we should hire a pilgrim entertainer ;)

We made flower cupcakes,

tissue paper flowers,

pinwheels for the kids,

fruit flowers

and the veggies were in a flower-like shape as well.

We made a banner,

and lots of yummy food.

Ryan made some awesome grilled-chicken kabobs with his secretly delicious marinade.

We also had bacon-wrapped dates, deviled eggs and fruits and veggies.

First, the kids played at the park

while the adults visited.

We took a few pictures of the 2013 babies.

Our 4 week old nephew, Trace made the trip, too!

We ate, sang to Adley and let her eat her cupcake.

She loved that thing, and signed "more please" when she was finished ;)

Time for presents!

She got so many cute clothes, books, and toys.  I think she walked about a mile with this toy.

The bigger kids took turns riding scooters and striders.

Adley was smiley and fun the entire time.  I just love having all of my favorite people in the same place, and I always feel SO blessed in the fact that all of them love our children.  It's seriously amazing.

(For Adley's actual birthday, we sang to her several times, took Aunt Jeannie and Great Grandma Hachmeister out to lunch and then ate brownies and ice cream at Aunt Jeannie's house.  She opened her present from Ryan, Parker and I that day, too =)

We love you Adley girl!
