Fun with Alyssa

Parker goes to a wonderful babysitter 3 mornings per week.  Jaime is super sweet and has a 1 year old daughter, Alyssa, that Parker loves to play with.  Here's a glimpse of their mornings.

I love this picture!  He looks so into it.

Lots of Energy!

Yay for having a video camera!  Here is one of our favorites.
I told you the kid loves his exersaucer!

First Tooth!

Parker's first tooth popped through on March 20.  You can see three tiny white bumps.  It's so cute =)  I still can't believe he's old enough to have teeth!  He's definitely not a baby baby anymore.  Especially compared to the newest babies in our lives, Lena Marie Hurt, and Josiah Daniel Haskell.  Life is full of babies these days!  Praise God!

Parker and Josiah.  6 months makes a big difference!
They say teething can have a lot of side affects.  His nose is definitely runny, and so is this!  He's had 2 days in a row with 2 baths =)

He's also learning how to sleep without being swaddled.  Since he was born, we've been putting him in a Swaddle-Me and it has worked great.  Now that he rolls every chance he gets, the swaddle isn't working (and isn't safe.)  He can flip himself over in his bed without even using his arms!  Then he thinks he'd like to sleep face down.  The first night I put him in a sleep sack, he was able to put himself to sleep rather quickly, but he also woke up about 4 times that night.  I finally swaddled him at 5:30am, and had to wake him up at 6:45 so I could get him to the babysitter's.  (He usually wakes up at around 6:00).  The next night I put just one arm in the swaddle, and let the other one loose.  He fell asleep after about 5 minutes of wimpering, and I didn't hear from him again until 6:00 =)  Good job baby!  Now tonight I wrapped him the same way, put him in his bed, he rolled himself over, and was asleep minutes after without any crying.  Yay!  I was worried the other night when he woke up a few times that this would be a tough transition, but it only took one night.  Way to go Parker!

Exersaucer

Every time we go somewhere with an exersaucer, Parker loves playing in it!  I was beginning to feel bad that we didn't have one at our apartment, but luckily Audra is lending us hers for now.  Thanks Audra!  He loves it!

Home Visits

We love visiting family in Stillman Valley and German Valley.  It is so fun to watch all of the cousins play together, visit grandparents, and relax.
Hunter, Parker, and Alaina watching a movie at Papa and Grandma's house.
Alaina is a great helper!
"Great Grandma, let me tell you a secret."
Visiting Grandma Carol
JW did a great job feeding him!
Whittaker loved feeding Parker, too.

Four Month Pictures

Here are Parker's 4 month pictures taken by the talented Joei Martinez!  Parker was smiling the entire time.  I thought my heart was going to burst!

So special.

President's Day

Over President's Day weekend, my family came in to visit.  We all hung out at Mike and Deb's for a little while, and then went to a hotel in Naperville to swim.  Parker seemed to enjoy his first time in the pool.  I love hanging out with family!

Nat and I both had off school on Monday, so we took the kids to the DuPage County Children's Museum...my new favorite place in Naperville.  Mikey came, too, so we could keep an I on the kids a little better.  Parker just chilled in his car seat, looked around, and took a nap.  I can't wait to take him when he's bigger!
