On the morning of Christmas Eve, we had the kids open their presents from us before we headed out to my parents' house. (We opted to take more video than pictures).
Parker loves this book, Farmer Dale's Red Pickup Truck.
He's been shaving in the morning with Ryan, so now he has his own set!
Adley did a pretty good job opening her own presents this year. She got some nesting blocks.
They each opened some kitchen accessories, and then we pulled the blanket off of their new kitchen!
Christmas is SO much fun as parent =) Adley got to work right away. So cute.
Parker made some pizza.
After opening presents and eating breakfast, we drove out to my parents' to join my family for Christmas Eve. We talked, played games and ping-pong, and then went to church. After church we came home and opened presents. My mom made Adley some super cute oven pits and hot pads, and Parker got a remote control tractor. He was ecstatic!
The next morning we went to Ryan's parents' house. The kids got some great new farm toys, and Adley got a pink Carhart! So cute! Parker also got a Lego Firetruck that he was thrilled about, and Adley got a shopping cart that holds a baby =) Lucky ducks!
The kids enjoyed some of Great Grandma Hachmiester's famous date cake.
Then we made Gingerbread houses.
Adley ate a ton of candy.
She finally fell asleep after such a fun day.
And Parker, Nana and Ryan got to work on some legos.
What a wonderful time spent with family. Thank you, God, for pouring your blessings out on us!
