Soaking Up Summer

August hit and all of sudden it felt like Summer was coming to an end! Which it was since we have a legit school-age kid in our home now. We made the most of it though =)

The kids and I checked out Lake LaDonna.

Alain's 11th Birthday in the city with all of the Haas/Ross women.

She woke up in imagination world and rattled off a story for 15 minutes about her kids and babies in her tummy, etc, etc until breakfast was ready.

First day of Gymnastics!! She was so excited! We all swam in the afternoon and she didn't want to because she had to get ready for gymnastics. She also made me paint her nails ;)

We were at Nat & Nate's one evening and Adley kept walking that pink chair closer and closer to the cows. They were all staring at each other for quite a while =)

Oh her little self - I can't get enough!

We got back from Convention and the pool needed a little TLC. Parker is a pretty great pool boy!

We've seen like 5 rainbows since we moved in. Awesome!!
Any picture I see of our backyard just makes me sooooooo happy. I love it.

Racing down the street after the rain. They were laughing so hard!

The last day of August, we had our first campout in our backyard. The kids looooved it. My back did not. Next time - air mattress.

You know, it really feels like this is exactly where we are supposed to be. <3 p="">
