So, when you take a vacation from a Wednesday to a Wednesday, it's really more of a 2 week vacation. Sweet! We had a few days of transition and then got back into the swing of things.
Adley has been "reading" books and taking care of her babies a lot lately. It is always absolutely adorable. She also loves wearing fancy dresses and changing her clothes multiple times/day.
We baked some healthy cut-out cookies to bring to daddy at the firestation. Mmm Mmm. The kids did a great job decorating!
On President's Day, we went to a climbing gym with Nate, Nat, Alaina & Hunter. I wasn't sure how much Parker would be able to do, but he dominated it. He did his best on some of the harder ones, but then we finally found the kids area.
Each try he would go higher and higher.
Then one time he looked down and told me he was ready to come down, and then Ryan said, "You can do it buddy!" So, he turned around and went right to the top!!!
Everyone in the whole area cheered for him! It was so cool! He proceeded to climb to the top at least 6 more times. Nice work, Parker boy!
Once a week, either Ryan or myself or both of us take Adley to "library school." We've had some super sweet and memorable times. One February morning we were a little early, so we took a little winter walk on the Riverwalk.
I love watching her read books in the back seat. She is getting SO big!
Her Rapunzel dolly came from Disneyworld! She loved her so much that she re-named her, "Cherry," like she's been naming the rest of her baby dolls.
She has just been growing like a weed! Every morning and every day after her nap, she stands up real tall and tells us to look how big she is. Then we proceed to tell her she is not allowed to get any bigger ;)
Just a little morning workout! Look at those little athletes!
We had some beautiful days in February! So much that we just had to go on a walk!
And go to the park.
I took Parker to a free hockey clinic. He really liked it and he did a great job for a newbie on skates. Watching a bunch of 5 year olds on skates is probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen ;)
We had a week where we were all feeling a little under the weather. So, we decided to rest. It was wonderful =)
