On Wednesday, February 3rd, we woke the kids up at 4:30 to head to FLORIDA! This is our first vacation as a family of 4, the first time for the kids on a flight, and we got to go with Great-Grandma Hachmeister (whom Adley is now calling Great-Grandma Hockey Stick).
The kids were excited to wake up and get going. We waited until the night before to tell them and they were pretty pumped!
We landed safely in Florida after a great flight, and were welcomed by 85 degrees of AWESOME! We changed into our summer clothes immediately and soaked it up! We played outside at Karl and Meg's and rode bikes to a park. What a great way to start vacation.
We checked into our hotel later that night and Ryan and I even got to sit in the hot tub while Grandma stayed back with the kids =) Thanks, Grandma!
The next morning we went to Disney Springs. Disney is like a tractor beam - it sucks you right in.
We stopped to listen to a concert. The kids all piled up next to Great Grandma.
It was just warm enough to enjoy the splash pad. Parker and Emma Kate jumped right in.
Adley was a bit hesitant.
We took a boat ride back to the front of the park and headed to Karl and Megs for a delicious dinner.
